How To Calculate Your Course Grade
Set-up
- Start by selecting "Weighted" for courses that use a weighted grading system and "Not Weighted" for those that don't.
- Next, specifiy if the grade(s) to be entered are points or percentages.
- Finally, enter your course grade information. See below for spcific instructions to enter grade data for the various sinarios.
Not Weighted/Points
- Enter grade category
- Enter grade(s) for that category in the same row in the Earned column. If there are multiple grades, seperate the grades using a comma.
- Enter the possible points for the category, in the same row in the possible column, either as a total figure or for each grade. Again, comma seperate multiple entries.
- Your course grade will be calculated automatically as you enter your grade information
Not Weighted/Percentages
- Enter grade category
- Enter grade(s) for that category in the same row in the Earned column. Do not enter the % symbol. Enter the percentage as a whole number, ie. 75% is entered as 75. Only use a decimal for percentate that don't have whole percentage points, ie. 75.5 for 75 1/2 % or .755. If there are multiple grades, seperate the grades using a comma.
